About Me

I’m currently looking for a role on a Tuesday and Thursday.

Hi, I’m Emily! I am an engaging, caring, and confident nanny. Some of my priorities as a nanny is to ensure that children learn through varied experiences and gain independence by making choices and problem solving. I strive to build strong and trusting relationships with the child but also the whole family. I love to have fun and don’t mind getting messy. I am a big advocate for outdoor play, whatever the weather. I have a circle of nanny friends an we regularly do days out as a group doing things such as farms, parks, museums, soft plays etc. We find this really helps with their social and relationship building skills.

My Experience

I started working in childcare in 2018, starting part time in a nursery whilst I studied Early Years & Childcare Lvl 2. From 2019 I worked full time in the same nursery whilst completing my level 3. I worked full time in the nursery making my way up in the ranks until I left in 2023 to pursue a career in nannying. I have worked with children as young as 8 months old and up to teen years.

I have an up to date DBS and am on the update list.
I have a certificate in Paediatric First Aid.
I have my own car with a full, clean UK license.
