My Experience

I have several years of experience working with young children and have developed a real passion for childcare from an early age. I began studying Early Childhood Studies at school, then went on to complete my Level 3 at college, followed by a Level 6 qualification at the University of Portsmouth.
During my studies, I gained hands-on experience in primary schools, nurseries and with childminders. Alongside this, I worked part-time in a nursery, which led to a full-time role after qualifying. I progressed from Assistant Manager in a Kindergarten room to Room Manager, where I developed strong leadership skills and took responsibility for planning daily routines tailored to each child's individual needs.
I have worked closely with parents and families to support children's development and wellbeing, and I take pride in building strong, trusting relationships. With several years of hands- on experience working with children, I have also provided babysitting for families, including evenings and full days.
I have completed safeguarding training and other relevant courses, and I am now looking to move into a nanny role where I can provide more personalised, one-to-one care and support for children.
