About Me

Hi all, I hope you are well if you are reading this. I am a qualified teacher and I love teaching children in the Early Years! This is where my true passion lies.

I have carried out supply teaching at a range of schools across the West Midlands, West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire. This has been an invaluable opportunity for me to see best practice across the Key Stages. I am currently teaching at a school in Birmingham in Early Years. I am enthusiastic, dedicated and nurturing and I would strive hard to make sure that your child makes progress. I would encourage your child to try their best, but I would equally ensure that all learning would be fun, engaging and humorous.

My Experience

I have had classes in Nursery, Reception and Year 1. I have also taught across KS1 & KS2 whilst on supply. This has enabled me to understand about progression through the Key Stages.

Kinetic Letters (Handwriting)
Jolly Phonics
Essential Letters and Sounds
Read, Write Inc
Whiterose Maths
Maths Mastery

I have experience with Phonics Screening and have had a good percentage of children achieve a pass in my classes. I love Phonics and I would be keen to help your child develop their skills within Early Literacy.

I studied Early Years Education with QTS (BA Hons)

My Availability

I am available on the weekends. I will have much more availability in the holidays.
