Hi, I’m Katie! I’m 26 and live in Denton with my husband. Ever since a child, my passion has always been to work with children, and that’s what I’ve been doing for the past 10 years. I love getting to know children and their families and offering a sense of security to both their little ones and parents themselves. I pride myself in my relationships with families that I work with and can supply references upon request. I like to think of myself as happy, fun, charismatic, patient and enthusiastic, ready for the day. I love being outdoors with children and visiting places within the local community and very much promote outdoor learning. My current nursery is sadly closing down and after 10 years of service I and am looking to now come into nannying for a new challenge and to work more directly with individual families. I am ideally looking for a full time role, however would also be open to taking on a part time role should the position suit. Look forward to hearing from you!
My Experience
I have 10 years childcare experience and have worked in a childcare setting based in Brighton since gaining my qualifications (Children and young peoples workforce, extended diploma). I have been a Deputy manager there for over 5 years now and have been the designated SENCO (Special educational needs coordinator) there for over 4 years. I am Safeguarding trained, first aid trained, and hold many other qualifications and training certificates (All available upon request).
I have had some experience in schooling and attended a placement there many years ago, when I was there I worked in a reception group, assisting with the daily learning and teaching there for 9 months.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
Charge per hour. Hourly rate is reviewed based on needs of children and how many children looking to be cared for.
