I'm a single mother living in Fulham with my 13 year old daughter and our sweet Cocker Spaniel.

We are looking for a warm, engaging and responsible female companion/nanny to spend time with our 13-year-old daughter during the October school break while her mother is travelling for work.

She is independent, creative and interested in art, fashion, K-pop, music and exploring London. This is not a traditional childcare role, and there are no household or cleaning duties involved. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with teenagers and can make the week fun, interesting and well structured.

The role would involve spending approximately 5–7 hours with her during the daytime, with some flexibility depending on the day’s plans. Activities might include visiting exhibitions or museums, exploring different parts of London, shopping, going for lunch, attending an art, pottery, jewellery or other creative workshop, seeing a film or show, or simply planning something together that she is interested in.

She will also have some independent time and may occasionally make plans with friends, so we are looking for someone comfortable with a flexible schedule rather than someone who feels she needs constant supervision.

We are looking for someone who is:

* Warm, positive, energetic and easy for a teenager to relate to
* Experienced with older children or teenagers
* Confident travelling around London independently with her
* Interested in art, fashion, culture, music or creative activities
* Responsible and mature, with good judgement
* Fluent in English
* Enhanced DBS checked
* Able to provide recent references
* First Aid trained would be an advantage

The family is based in West London (W14). There will be separate overnight childcare arrangements, so no overnight work is required for this position.

Dates: Monday 19 – Friday 23 October 2026
Hours: Approximately 5–7 hours per day, to be agreed in advance

Rate: Competitive, depending on experience

We would ideally like the successful candidate to meet both mother and daughter beforehand to make sure everyone feels comfortable and gets along well.
