My Experience

After leaving St Edmunds Canterbury with passes in 5 GCSE’s I enrolled in Canterbury College in 2019. There, I studied childcare and child development. Childcare has always been a passionate interest and I passed the course in Canterbury College with flying colours. During this time I started my first nannying role doing school drop off and pick up, cooking dinner and and doing bed time. At college I learned about appropriate planning and organisation in relation to the EYFS (early years foundation stage). I am also familiar with Development Matters and how it can be used for effective planning. I enjoyed every moment of the course. During lockdown from March 2020, I lived at home in Folkestone, tutoring a seven year old and a five year old as they were learning remotely. I also continued my own studies remotely. In 2021 I moved to Bristol where I studied a foundation year in primary education. I also began my first job in a nursery in Bristol; working in the nursery as well as studying. After leaving Bristol I moved to Brighton where I worked in several nurseries and schools, looking after children from 4 months to 11 years. I learned so much in this time about children and there learning. Since moving back to folkestone I have done a little bit of nannying and babysitting here and there but i am looking for something a little bit more consistent.

I am available most days at the moment.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

I charge £15 per hour for one child, £18 per hour for two children and £20 per hour for three children.
