Hi, I’m Lucy and i’m 24 years old. I am a caring, reliable and enthusiastic childcare professional with a Level 3 Early Years qualification and several years of experience working with children from babies through to primary school age. I have worked as a nanny, nursery manager and teaching assistant, giving me a wide range of skills to support children’s learning, development and wellbeing. I love planning fun, engaging activities, spending time outdoors, reading stories, baking and encouraging children’s confidence and independence. I understand the importance of building trusting relationships with both children and parents and always provide a safe, nurturing and happy environment where children can thrive.
My Experience
I have extensive experience caring for children of all ages in a variety of settings. I have been a nursery manager, leading a team while caring for babies, toddlers and preschool children. I have also worked as a Teaching Assistant in Nursery and Reception, supporting children’s learning and development, including those with SEND. I have carried out WellComm speech and language assessments, delivered targeted interventions and worked closely with the SENCO to support children’s individual needs. More recently I am currently a private nanny for a family of 5 and have worked with 3 different families over the years. I have experience managing daily routines, school runs, meal preparation, newborn experience, potty training, activities and outings. Unfortunately my current nanny family are relocating which means I am looking for a new family to help!
I hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification, Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training.
