My Experience

I have experience working with children in mainstream schools, SENCO departments, and nurseries. I’ve supported children of different ages and needs, helping to create a safe, fun, and positive environment for them to learn and grow.

Alongside my professional experience, I’ve also helped care for my nieces from a young age, who are now 4 and 6, as well as my little cousin who is now 8. This has given me plenty of hands-on experience with young children and helped me build strong skills in keeping children engaged, supported, and cared for. Although full transparency I can be just as silly as the kids, I do believe in a good balance of time to listen and time to have fun and play around.

I’ll be returning to studying in September and am currently working in healthcare with adults, which has further strengthened my communication, patience, and responsibility.

At the moment, I do not have an up-to-date children’s DBS as I have not worked in schools for the past year and a half, but I am happy and willing to obtain a new children’s DBS certificate if required.
