We feel really lucky to have found Ila. She’s warm, kind, and just naturally brilliant with children, and it shows in everything she does with Aria.

The biggest giveaway for us is how excited Aria is to go to her. There are no morning battles, no hesitation, she just happily goes in, which honestly says more than anything we could write here. You can’t really fake that kind of reaction from a child.

Since starting with Ila, we’ve noticed Aria becoming more confident and willing to try things on her own. She clearly enjoys all the activities Ila plans, and being around the other children has helped her learn patience, which as any parent knows is no small achievement.

One of our favourite little things is that Aria sometimes copies the way Ila speaks. She’ll suddenly come out with these very polite, gentle phrases and we just look at each other like, “well… that definitely didn’t come from us!” It’s lovely, and a bit funny too.

Most importantly, Aria clearly feels safe, happy, and cared for. She talks about Ila with so much affection, and that’s the best reassurance we could ask for.

We honestly couldn’t recommend Ila more. She’s not just a great childminder, she’s someone who genuinely makes a difference.
