My Requirements
9-12 guaranteed hours after school in Tufnell Park, with similar hours most weeks in the holidays too.
We need an experienced and qualified after-school nanny 3-4 afternoons a week, to collect our 5 and 7 year old from school at 3.30pm, walk them home (about 10 minutes) and look after them till 6.30pm. They would need to prepare snacks at home, then offer activities/arts and crafts/games, and support them with their learning. Depending on the weather they might spend time in the nearby park, but mainly they would need to spend some calm but stimulating time at home.
Both of us are at work full-time, which one of us will always do from home.
We would appreciate it if the nanny is willing to do some cooking/light housekeeping at times, potentially in an hour before pick up say twice a week, or during the time at home with the kids' participation. We are happy to discuss this.
Above all we would like the nanny to have strong childcare/education qualifications and experience, and an ability to engage the children in their interests/learning and to support them emotionally.

Chan is an excellent nanny, with a particular gift for young babies. She is gentle, well informed and professional, and extremely trustworthy. You feel your child is totally safe with her, which is the most important thing! Chan knows about child development and milestones, she immediately commented on our baby's gross motor skills, and began proactively working to support him with crawling/walking. She is also very aware of hygiene and makes sure baby is clean before and after every meal. She also gives excellent tips on bedtime routine, how to manage multiple kids, sleep etc. She has all her paperwork clear and in order, and will give generously of her time. She always left our place so neat and tidy. We were grateful to have her for babysitting when we did. Thank you Chan.
