My Experience

I am currently working as a nanny around London. This job allows me to be a flexible nanny working with various families across London, providing a great quality of childcare for children ranging from 1 month to 9 years old. I foster positive relationships with both children and parents through effective communication and a caring approach. My responsibilities include planning and leading outdoor activities, such as trips to parks, libraries, cafes, soft play areas, school and nursery pick ups as well as managing children’s participation in clubs and classes.
I ensure children’s well-being by preparing nutritious meals and snacks, organising outing bags, and maintaining a safe and engaging environment. This role has strengthened my ability to handle situations independently while ensuring each child's individual needs are met. I am passionate about outdoor play
and exploration, understanding its importance in a child's development. As well as that I maintain effective communication with parents to ensure the best care for children and
address any concerns, independently prepare meals, snacks, and outing bags for the children in my care and build strong, positive relationships with families, ensuring a nurturing and safe environment.
I have frequently traveled across London, demonstrating strong travel planning skills and punctuality. I have been able to adapt quickly to new areas and have successfully taken children to various attractions within their local surroundings. I’ve also had to quickly adjust to the individual needs of children in a variety of situations. Meeting new children and parents on a daily basis has helped me develop a deep understanding and respect for the fact that every child is unique. I recognise that emotional expression and adaptability vary from child to child, and I strive to respond with empathy, patience, and flexibility in every interaction.
As well as this I have previously worked in a childminding setting and a nursery over the space of 5 years.

My Qualifications

BTEC Level 3 Health and Social Care and 11 GCSE A-C, Maths B, English C.
NVQ Level 3
First Aid Trained
