About Me
Mature, reliable, responsible experienced Mum of one 17 year old son, is now actively seeking a return to a Nanny/Housekeeper/Mother's Help role where an extra pair of hands would really be appreciated! I am sensitive, empathetic, have a good sense of humour and enjoy the countryside, nature and love animals, so more than happy to help with pet care (although I would have to draw the line at tarantula training I'm afraid:) basic cooking, shopping and light household tasks no problem. Previous jobs held, Au Pair (in USA) Nanny/Housekeeper, Houseparent in a residential Boarding School. In the past I have cared for children from 6 weeks to 16 years, however, most roles were with children 5 years and older. Would prefer 4 days ideally, however I would certainly consider full time for the right family. Available end of Sept 2026. Hoping to relocate somewhere with easy access to train/within Salisbury for Son's College Course at The Wiltshire College.
My Experience
Mum of one. Have been caring for my Mum for the last 2.5 years due to a cancer diagnosis. Initially began working in Childcare as an Au Pair in America for one year. Secured position as a Resident Houseparent looking after 26 boys within a Boarding School setting until I took Maternity Leave and could no longer commit to sleep in duties. My Nanny/ Housekeeper roles prior to this were in the New Forest and the East Midlands. I have held various temporary agency positions and permanent long term roles prior to becoming a full-time Mum myself. Now I hope to find a fulfilling role with a lovely, down to earth family who are happy to have me around!
My Qualifications
No formal childcare qualifications, but an awful lot of varied hands on experience!
My Availability
Available from September 2026
My Fees
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (net)
Reimbursement of petrol costs if required to use own car. NB. Full licence but for AUTOMATIC cars only.
