My Requirements

Hello! We’re a warm, friendly family looking for a caring, reliable and experienced nanny to join our family on a part-time basis.

We have two children, aged 2 and 5. Our youngest is soon to be 3 and is starting nursery, so we’re looking for someone who can provide a lovely, nurturing day alongside helping her build confidence, independence and familiarity with being away from us. She can be a little shy when meeting new people and takes some time to warm up, so we’re looking for someone warm, patient and genuinely comfortable with young children.

We’d love someone who enjoys getting out and about with children, whether that’s going to the park, library, toddler groups, activities, soft play or simply exploring locally. We’d also like the nanny to encourage age-appropriate independence, communication, play and social interaction in a relaxed and enjoyable way.

Our older child is 5 and is at school, so the role will primarily involve caring for our youngest during term time, with occasional care for both children during school holidays.

Hours: Mondays and Tuesdays, 10am–4pm.

We’re looking for someone who is:

Warm, nurturing and patient
Reliable, trustworthy and responsible
Experienced with toddlers and young children
Proactive and happy to plan activities and outings
Encouraging of independence and confidence
Comfortable supporting toilet routines and the general needs of a young child
Ideally paediatric First Aid trained and DBS checked, with excellent references

We’re hoping to find someone who will become a familiar and trusted person in our children’s lives and who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children.
