About Me

My name is Rebecca, I was raised, and educated well, in South West London and currently based in Monton, Manchester. I also have family based in Leeds and a base there. I have a degree in Fashion Design and previously worked in office settings so understand the need for reliable, organised and punctual nanny and can support in household admin tasks easily. I have always been both a creative and lover of childcare. I have previously worked in fully staffed and professional family’s and have worked as a rota nanny, where i acted as a mother figure and nanny for a year with two boys, so am experienced in proxy-parenting. I grew up with dogs and absolutely adore animals. I have multiple years of experience working within private households and also was trained whilst working at my old full time job in a private full time childcare facility and nursery school. I continue to further my knowledge of babies, children and early years education. I am extremely reliable, communicative, organised and an overall happy and bubbly person. I am an experienced traveller and always happy to work along side a team if necessary. I have travelled in previous roles. I adore fitness. I tend to walk (whenever it isn’t raining!) in my spare time along with hike and play tennis. I ski too and have experienced skiing with children (however i’m definitely not a pro!). I am extremely confident when travelling with a family. I hold a full UK drivers license, a modern and reliable car, current DBS, paediatric first aid and educational settings experience.

I have understanding of multiple key milestones, such as weaning, potty training, fine motor skills development, learning to read and write, learning sports and all creative activities. I have musical experience so can assist with music workshops, teaching and any instrumental practices.
I have a creative mindset and great unique ideas for activities and am extremely passionate about supporting children through education. I hopefully intend to use my spare time to educate myself further through a postgrad degree in the near future. I have a full British passport and always renew my travel insurance/cover as i’m such a passionate traveller and would be willing to travel with your family if necessary.
