About Me

Hi I’m Amelia,

Most children call me Mia or Mimi.

I am a kind and caring individual, with a passion for caring for and working with children. I would be a loving nanny to your child(ren).

I love baking sweet treats and doing crafts! I would love to include the little ones I nanny in baking and crafts.

As a nanny I take care of children in their homes. My job includes hygiene
care, weaning, potty training, putting the children down for sleep time,
preparing meals / formula bottles and feeding, school pick-ups, and washing.
I plan activities around interests and development needs, as well as walks and
to local places such as parks, soft play, and farms. I like to take children out
and about to local toddler groups such as sensory groups, music groups,
swimming classes, or messy play.

I have a degree in Early Childhood Studies and I have worked as a early years practitioner in a local nursery and have been an nanny since 2023.

I have experience with children of all ages and abilities. This includes children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and children with PEGs

I have a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

I have a clean full drivers licence and my own car with business insurance.

I have public liability insurance.

My Experience

I have a degree in Early Childhood Studies, and have experience with children of all ages.

I’m a career nanny with a strong history of staying long-term with families, which reflects my reliability and trustworthiness.

I have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

I am experienced in a number of age groups, with a special passion in working with young babies. I have worked in the baby room at a local nursery as well as being a baby nanny too.

I have experience with children with disabilities and special educational needs including children with PEGs.

My family have fostered children as I grew up, I have been able to have experience with children as young as one day old.

-BA Hons Early Childhood Studies

-Full Paediatric First Aid (Tigerlily)

- Trained in PEG feeding

- Makaton Level 2

- Food and Hygiene (Level 2)

- Safeguarding certificate (Level 1)

- Completed a nannying course

-Access Course to higher education (health sciences)

- I have A Levels in Psychology and Health and Social Care.

Wonderful and kind nanny

Amelia cared for our baby son (from 4 to 10 months). He loved playing with her from day one. Amelia is a wonderful nanny: very kind, polite, always smiley, on time and reliable. She also prepared and cooked him very yummy & healthy food during his naps.
