About Me

My name is Kirsty Holder and I run Erica Grove Childcare in Pitcorthie.

I am married to Michael with two boys. Caiden and Lewis.

I spent the 9 years working with Scottish Autism where I gained my svq in health and social care.

After having my children I decided that I really want to get back to working solely with children. I want to provide a stable, home from home environment for children to come when their parents are working as I know how difficult it can be for a parent to find the right childcare.

I currently have a preschool space on Monday available. From January 2026 i will have 1 pre school space available on a Monday and from August 2026 I will have spaces available on a Tuesday and Wednesday as well.

My Experience

I am a fully qualified early year’s practitioner with an NC and HNC in Childcare and Education. I qualified in 2005 and spent two years working in and around Edinburgh in various nurseries and special education schools on supply. I have also spent 4 years working with the Lothian Autistic Society. I moved to Dunfermline in 2006 and in 2007 I started working with Scottish Autism where I worked until 2016. While working for Scottish autism I completed my SVQ III in social care as well as various other training to keep my practise up to date.

I have worked as a childminder since 2016 and I absolutely adore my job. I work closely with families.

Since 2020 I have been registered through Fife Council to provide funded care to 2 year olds and as well as being able to provide 3-5 year old funding.
