About Me
Hello, my name is Aoife (pronounced ee-fa, its Irish haha!) I’m 23 years old and offer full Nanny services which is my current full time job. I live in Longbridge, South Birmingham with my puppy Wilma.
I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and Development, as well as experience as a foster carer. I have been a full time Nanny for the last 6 months and I’m looking for my next position.
I have 5 siblings and am the eldest of them all, so my first hand experience with children is unmatched! I went to Performing Arts school and was a Dancer for many years. I also love many sports especially watching Rugby and England play football (and Liverpool...) , I love to show others the joy and fun sport can bring to all ages!
I am looking for approximately 30-35 hours per week, and can be flexible for a summer position if required. I would like something relatively local to me, and due to my extensive experience my hourly rate is £20 per hour (can be discussed).
Please note, I have a 1 month notice period to work before I can start full time.
My Experience
Alongside helping to raise my younger siblings, we as a family have been registered foster carers for nearly 9 years!
We have had over 20 children between the ages of 6 weeks old - 13 years old, specialising in those under 5. I have taken a bigger role in this over the past 3 years, helping to care for the children and regularly tending to their extra curricular activities and commitments.
I am also fully DBS checked.
Alongside this I was also a Dance Teacher for around 3 years and taught students between the ages of 4 - 12 years old... its definitely an interesting age group to try organise and teach haha! But it was certainly fun and I found different ways to keep them engaged.
Furthermore, I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, with a focus on development from ages 0-8 years old. As part of the degree we focussed on Montessori techniques so I feel equipped to implement this, if desired, to my daily care.
I have been a full time Nanny for a high net-worth family for the last 6 months, for a 3 year old girl, our days consist of learning, play and outdoor education, and I am sole charge of the child from breakfast to bedtime, meaning I am full experienced in the holistic care of the child!

My Availability
I am looking for full time work, preferably between 9am-5pm (+/- 30 mins/1hour flexibility either side), Monday - Friday.
Happy to do a Nanny Share.
Can also do a 4 day week, for the right wage/hours.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
Would ask for some costs to cover petrol if needing to travel more than 5 miles.
Any petrol costs to drive as part of working, would also need to be covered.
Any expenses spent on the child during the day would need to be covered also, but this will be spent only with the parent’s permission.
Overnights may differ from usual hourly rates based on duties
