About Me

Hello, my name is Erika Hanzel and I am a fully qualified childcare professional with a passion for supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing.

I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a Level 2 qualification in Childcare, and a Level 3 Forest School certification. I also have 5 years of experience working as an Early Years Teacher, alongside previous experience as a supervisor in the hospitality industry, which has strengthened my organisation, communication, and leadership skills.

I am a warm, reliable, and nurturing person who creates a safe and engaging environment where children can thrive. I particularly enjoy supporting early development through play-based learning, outdoor activities, and creative exploration.

My approach

I believe children learn best through play, exploration, and feeling secure. I aim to build strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents, ensuring open communication at all times.
