About Me

Hello, i’m Jess i’m currently working in a nursery as a room leader but I am looking for a job change where i can be more one to one with the children. I currently work with ages 2-3 but have had experience with different ages from babies to preschool and all ages in-between. I am a fun, reliable, hard worker who enjoys helping and supporting others.
While working in the preschool room i help them with their writing and learning their letters aswell as numbers, shapes and colours.

I started as an apprentice at Cherryvale and during my course i was employed as an unqualified nursery nurse while finishing my Early Years Educator diploma.
I became qualified at the start of 2022, aswell as completing a first aid course(again feb 2024), managing children’s behaviour, EYFS, safe sleep, safeguarding and others.
I have had experiences with care plans for some of the children, SEN paper work (as well as some training), and looking after children with dietary requirements (including a child that has an epipen)



Responsibilities:

filling out accident and incident reports
following and filling out a behaviour plan

speaking to parents on the phone
