My last Ofsted inspection was March 2024
There is a no smoking policy in my house. Both my husband and I do not smoke.
We live in a semi-detatched three bedroomed house in a quiet cul-de-sac in the centre of Bishops Cleeve. There is an enclosed garden,
We have some tropical fish which the children like to watch..
The house is within walking distance of the local park, playgroups, toddlergroups, schools and shops.
I was also children’s auntie for the Gloucestershire District Area of the Camping and Caravaning Club for three years.
I am an Accredited Childminder (able to take nursery funding for 2 and 3 year olds). And I am a member of PACEY(. Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years). I have completed the ICP (Introduction to Childminding Practice) course. I have gained an A grade in training for the DHC (Diploma in Home Based Childcare) level 3. I am a member of the Gloucestershire Quality Improvement Network As with all training, this will help to raise my professional skills and quality of childcare whilst showing my commitment to continuing professional development
My Experience
I have been a Registered Childminder since 2000 .A variety of activities will be carried out during the day depending on the age of the children in my care. These include colouring, printing, reading, baking, playdough, dressing up and various craft activities
I try, where possible, to take young children and babies to Childminder drop-in sessions, toddler groups, music groups, reading sessions at the library and soft play centres.
For school age children, if parents want their child/ren to start on their homework when we get home from school. I would be happy to do this.
I also take children on outings during school holidays which will include visits to the WwT Slimbridge, Worcester woods, Pershore splash park .

I work inline with the EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STATE PRINCIPILES. These are set out by the government and every practitioner working with children aged 5 and below should follow these principles.
I will promote the EYFS ( early years foundation stage) within my setting.
My Availability
l have full and part time vacancies available. I do work all year through but I am also available to work term times only.
ive within 10 minutes walk of Bishops Cleeve Primary. I have some drop off and pick up spaces from Bishops Cleeve Primary.
It is a 10 minute walk to Elmtree Playgroup and Tythe Barn Playgroup. Woodmancote Playgroup is about 25 minutes walk from my house.
Bishops Cleeve Toddler Group is about 5 minutes walk just around the corner.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
I charge £6 per hour out of funded hours
Fees are payable in monthly in advance.
Snacks are included in hourly rate. I will provide breakfast, lunch .for £2.50per meal. Or Children can bring their own meals.
