My Requirements

Hey there! we are searching for a responsible, reliable, caring and understanding nanny with a few years experience in under 1-2 years old care, baby’s with extra care needs And is comfortable working with a mom who has ocd.

Our baby, 1.8 years old is currently being ng tube fed so we would only like to hire someone who has had NG tube feeding training and is experienced, confident and conformable with this. You must know how to re-insert the tube in nose if she pulls it out, PH test the tube and tape the tube to baby’s cheek. (We will ask you to perform this routine a couple of times under supervision prior to hire for baby’s safety. After this it will be unsupervised when you’re looking after our baby Ofcourse)

Baby also has hearing aids which will be ideal if you are comfortable handling them, change the batteries and reinserting them if she takes them out.

Baby has a weakened immune system so an excellent standard of hygiene is a must in our household especially during these times. Regular hand washing is vital and avoiding cross contamination is major.

mom has a certain way she prefers things done, please be understanding and mindful of this. So things from outside will not be allowed to be used in the property, Example but not limited to; books, pens, tablets, any personal items, snacks, travel mugs etc

This also means no shoe inside the property but comfy home slippers can be provided for your own comfort.

Food is provided. Happy to cater to specified dietary needs but no outside food to be brought into the home also due to allergies also.

Hopefully it doesn’t sound too tightly regime as we are a friendly and welcoming house. The job it self is pretty straightforward and you will have a lot of fun filled hours with our child.

On your part, no house keeping is required as this is already taken care of. personal baby care is limited, baby won’t need to be bathed, as I do this myself. The only thing we ask is nappy changing.

Regarding feeding, as previously mentioned. She’s Ng Tube Fed, so bottles would already have been prepared in advance (so no messy bottles to clean and prepare) , simply keep her entertained, play with her, encourage learning and clean up after her if she makes a mess or spills up.
