About Us
We are a preschool located in the Community Centre at Maiden Place, Lower Earley. We have ample parking.
We have the use of a large, air conditioned hall, with an enclosed outside play area.
In support of our primary vision, the pre-school aims to-
Make a child’s first steps towards independence as enjoyable as possible both for the children and their parents/carers
Ensure a child’s time spent in pre-school provides an easy transition to school
Actively encourage parental involvement in all aspects of the group
We are a community group with charitable status, owned and run by the parents/ carers of children attending the group. We cater for children from 2 to 5 Years, and we are open every day, term time only.
Morning sessions 9:30am – 12/12:30pm Monday to Friday
Afternoon sessions 12/12:30pm – 3pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
All day sessions 9:30am – 2:30pm, 10:00am – 3:00pm, 9:30am – 3:00pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
Lunch Club (no extra cost) 12:00pm – 12:30pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday

Our Fees
- Childcare from £19.38 per morning
- Childcare from £19.38 per afternoon
Fees are currently charged at £7.75 per hour for non-funded children and funded 2’s going over their 15 hours, increasing to £8.10 from 3rd June. For funded 3- and 4-year olds, should you go over your funded hours, the hourly rate is then £7.50, increasing to £7.85 from 3rd June. We do offer 30-hour funding, however the maximum we can offer is 22.5 hours per week, as we are not open Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
