I have two grown-up sons and 9 years of experience working in education and am now currently working in the early years sector. I am well-educated, energetic and enthusiastic and good at forming a rapport with children of many ages. I am widely travelled, very much a people person and am adaptable to different environments with the ability to get stuck in. I am on the DBS update system for England and Wales.
My Experience
I was a full-time mum to my two boys and engaged in every aspect of their lives. I have 9 years experience as a learning support assistant working in secondary school and sixth form college with students with a wide spectrum of needs, one to one, in small groups and in class as well as a HLTA at a special school for looked-after children. I also have several years experience as a carer including as a private live-in carer for 3 different clients.
My Qualifications
I have a BA Hons in English Literature, I also have some counselling qualifications and I have completed all necessary relevant training whilst working in the care sector.
My Availability
I am currently working as a supply teaching assistant so my availability is flexible.
