About Me

Hello, my name is Katie, I am a married mum of three wonderful kiddos; Jonah (6), Jacob (4) and Elodie (1).
My husband, Jamie, is a Graphic Designer working in Chippenham while I childmind from our home in Corsham; I use both the main house and a specially converted garage solely for my minded kids. We are based opposite Corsham Broadwood school.
My setting is equipped with everything I need to ensure your little one(s) thrive and exceed the EYFS standard set out by the UK government. I also like to immerse my children in the outdoors as much as possible on local outings as well as further afield; examples include the many parks in Corsham (of which several are a short walk away), Westonbirt Arboretum, Stourhead National Trust, Dyrham Park etc.
I provide childcare from 8am (drop off either by 8:30am, or from 9am to allow for school drop) to 5:30pm, Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3pm on Fridays.
I operate a fixed nine hour minimum day (except for Fridays), typically this is from 8am to 5pm on a year round basis only.
I accept government funding for 9 month olds, 2 year olds and 3/4 year olds.
I charge £7 per hour for privately funded hours.
My Experience
My family has lived all over the world (India, Malaysia, Italy, Australia) and so I've always been around a multitude of different cultures and nationalities. I love to try new things and hope to impart this on the children I care for.
I went to The University of Nottingham and then went into retail working as a buyer for Aldi's UK head office, then relocated to Wiltshire to be closer to family (before I had kids of my own) and then worked in property management. I chose to retrain as a childminder because I love having a creative outlet and encourage my own children to learn through play, I also love being around young children and this allows me the privilege of the best of both worlds!
As a mother I have experience of nursery and childminder settings (my eldest went to the local nursery and my younger two are with a local childminder) so I have a great knowledge and understanding of what is on offer in both worlds.

My Availability
As a brand new setting I have availability for immediate starts after some settling in sessions.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
£7 per hour childminding.
£20 per hour babysitting.
Early years funding once Ofsted approved.
