My name is Rosie and if I was to describe myself using two words, that would be bubbly and creative!
During my career, I have had a variety of roles within the health and social care sector. One role which I throughly enjoyed was working as a TA and 1:1 SEN support at a primary school in Kent.
Whether it's horticulture, crocheting, painting or photography, I am an individual who loves to keep busy! Growing up on a farm in the beautiful rural area of East Sussex has enabled me to expand on some of these hobbies and appreciate how fortunate I am to live where I do.
My main drive in life is to both support and care for those in the community (whether that's through creativity or other avenues) to ensure their needs are met.
My Experience
I have experience in both a nursery and primary school environment. The work was provided under an educational agency based in Kent.
During my time working at a primary school, I was providing 1:1 support for a student with ASD. The span over my career has taught me many different skills that are transferable to almost any situation, from providing feedback to educational specialists (e.g. Speech and Language Therapist and SENCO). Furthermore, carrying out interventions has broadened my skillset to plan effectively and work well both independently and in a team.
