My Summary
About Me
I study fine art at Oxford Brookes. I live in oxford with my parents. I am able to drive and have my own car. I am currently starting up my own ceramics and art tutoring business. I now offer private and group lessons for children ages 5-18 based in my studio in Oxford. This can include anything you child is interested in, from learning to sew on a sewing machine to ceramics and throwing on a pottery wheel. I make tailor made lessons that allow your child’s creativity to blossom.
I believe in child led learning and that all children should have the full ability to learn about the beauty of art and find ways of being their true creative selves, while still building artistic skills that not only boost them artistically but aid them in skills such as hand-eye co-ordination and problem solving.
For older Children I offer lessons of advice and guidance for A level and GCSE in Fine art and Fashion textiles as well as Art university application aid, after having personal experience applying and achieving offers to study fine art at Oxford university, University of the arts London and Kingston university.
My Experience
I was a nanny in London for a couple months, where I did after school nannying for a 6 year old boy at a highly academic school so I plenty of experience with homework duties. I currently have a volunteering role for a Weekend art Academy at an oxford independent school where I work with classes from ages 7+. I also do babysitting for 6 and 8 year old siblings. I have a DBS check but I am happy to provide an up to date certificate. I have had first aid training specifically for children ages 1 and up. Finally I have experience with neurodiverse children as well as dyslexic children. I am very happy to provide references if you would like.
My Qualifications
I have 3 a levels in fine art, fashion and history. I have received basic first aid training and I have some experience in pastoral with KS1 and KS2 children.
