About Me
We’re a friendly professional family in Dorking looking for someone to support us as our daughter starts school in September 2026. She’s bright, energetic and curious, and we’d love to find someone who can become a trusted part of our family life.
Our current nanny is moving on after four wonderful years, so we’re open to different backgrounds - part time nanny, nanny housekeeper, childcare professional, childminder or someone with relevant family support experience. We’re flexible on hours and happy to shape the role around the right person.
The role may include school runs, simple meal prep, homework support, play and activities, evening routines and school holiday care. Depending on your skills and preferences, it could also include light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, errands and general home organisation.
My Requirements
Essential: Warm, reliable and confident with children; Childcare qualifications or childcare/nanny experience; Good communication and initiative; Full driving license and own car; References and willingness to maintain an Enhanced DBS.
Desirable (not essential): Ofsted registration, Paediatric First Aid, Housekeeping or home management experience.
We are intentionally offering a high degree of flexibility. We are happy to discuss patterns - before/after school, additional hours during the school day, maybe school holidays, or a combined nanny housekeeper arrangement. Such as split shifts (drop off and pick up) several times a week or potentially just pick ups or other combinations. Likely to be Tue-Thu but happy to discuss. We'd consider childminder support too.
