Experienced & Caring London Nanny | Babies & Young Children | W2 – Paddington / Marble Arch

Hello, my name is Haiane and I am an experienced and caring nanny based in Central London, living in W2, between Paddington and Marble Arch.

I have several years of professional childcare experience in London, caring for babies, toddlers and young children, including sole-charge positions. I am passionate about creating a safe, loving and stimulating environment where children can feel happy, confident and supported as they grow and develop.

My childcare experience

I am confident caring for babies from a young age and understand the importance of following their individual routines, including:

• Feeding and bottle preparation
• Nappy changing and personal care
• Nap and sleep routines
• Weaning and preparing healthy meals
• Baby-led activities and sensory play
• Supporting physical and cognitive development
• Age-appropriate activities and outings
• Nursery and school runs
• Taking children to classes, parks, libraries, soft play and children’s activities
• Children’s laundry and keeping their areas organised
• Supporting children’s routines and milestones

With toddlers and older children, I enjoy planning activities that encourage their development while keeping them fun and engaging. I particularly enjoy arts and crafts, painting, music, dancing, singing, books, outdoor activities, playgrounds, sensory activities and exploring London with children.

Bilingual childcare

I am Brazilian and speak Portuguese fluently. I really enjoy introducing Portuguese to children through everyday activities, songs, books, colours, numbers, animals and conversation.

In previous nanny positions, I have helped children become familiar with Portuguese naturally through play and daily routines.

I also have experience working with multicultural families and am comfortable adapting to different family cultures, routines and parenting styles.

My approach

I am warm, affectionate, patient, reliable and responsible. I genuinely enjoy being around children and love watching them reach new milestones.

I believe children learn best through a combination of play, routine, exploration, conversation and positive interaction. I always try to make everyday activities educational without making them feel like lessons.

I am proactive and happy to organise the children’s day rather than simply supervising them. I enjoy researching local activities and taking children to suitable classes, parks, libraries, museums, music sessions, soft play and other age-appropriate activities.

Living centrally means I am ideally located for families in Paddington, Marble Arch, Hyde Park, Bayswater, Notting Hill, Marylebone, Mayfair, Westbourne Grove, Kensington and surrounding areas, subject to the exact location and working hours.

I am particularly interested in a long-term nanny position with a family who values a caring, responsible and proactive nanny.
