Hi! My name is Jo and I am a graduate from Oxford Brookes University, having acquired a 2.1 in Sports Coaching and Physical Education. I have been currently working in further education the last ten year’s mentoring and one to one support with special needs students, a job I truly love.
My Experience
have recently qualified as a teacher in further education sector, where I have worked for the past 4 years. I work with students on the Autistic Spectrum predominantly in English GCSE giving students one-to-one study support
GCSE LITERATURE AND LANGUAGE ALL BOARDS
My students routinely exceed their predicted grades. I can help non native speakers access the curriculum, whilst giving targeted grammatical explanations which develops command of written English.
11+ EXPERIENCE
I have had several students who have undertaken there 11 plus exam. I provide tailor made lessons, working on comprehension, writing and both group and individual interview skills.
My Qualifications
I have a BA honours in Sports Coaching and Physical Education. I also have a PGCE and many other Autism qualifications.
