My son who is autistic but very gentle and non verbal goes to a special school in Manchester. We have been provided with a taxi from the LA but we need a travel assistant to travel with him to school. The taxi will pick up from our home in salford and drop off the kid at school and will then bring back the travel assistant to our home.
During pick up time the taxi will pick up the travel assistant from our home and pick up the child from school and will drop the travel assistant and the child back at our home. Its about 3/4 hours of guaranteed pay during term time.
