My Requirements

We are looking for a full-time nanny to join our family.

This is a Sole Charge role working 7:30am-6:30pm Monday-Thursday and Friday 7:30am-5:30pm (hours flexible on a Friday if needed).

We have 2 children, P and K. P is 4.5 years old and is an outgoing and warm child, who is inquisitive and friendly. P loves being active whether it’s arts and crafts, riding her bike or hitting the swings. K is ten months and has a seemingly endless ability to smile and be happy (he is a very content little boy), he loves eating and sleeping, which covers most of the bases at this age! P is great with K, and loves to help keep her brother entertained or help him out if something is out of reach.

As a family we’re passionate about our home and creating a relaxed friendly place to enjoy time together, and pursue respective passions. The Kitchen is the heart of the house, with a big table and a place to eat together and enjoy family meals. We are clean and tidy (with everything having its place) and the children having structure and routine. We have a (very) little dog called C, a Miniature Dachshund, who loves attention and joining the family for walks in the park or by the river.

We would love to find a nanny that is proactive and organised (naturally tidying as they go and maintaining routines). Helping to manage an active household and with physical energy to keep up with the children outdoors. Nutrition conscious, they should understand the importance of healthy eating and be able to prepare nutritious meals.

We’re excited to support a newly qualified nanny at the start of their career if that’s you? Both of us have lots of experience in mentoring young people and helping them learn and build experience.

We will provide a positive environment, fresh and bright home. We’ll provide lots of time and support to help learn how our family and home operates, with patience and care.

We will be straightforward and truthful, and ask the same of our nanny. We are looking forward to someone joining our family, and helping us make P and K’s childhood a fun filled and positive one.

There will likely be the opportunity to travel on holidays with the family in both the UK and Europe and the family would appreciate some ad hoc babysitting and overtime.

We would like someone with a full UK driving license.
