Hello, I’m a qualified teacher with extensive experience working with children of all ages and abilities. I currently work in a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school, where I am a Class Teacher, Designated Safeguarding Lead, and Professional Development Lead. Supporting children’s learning, wellbeing, and development is at the heart of everything I do.
During the summer holidays, I am offering reliable, nurturing childcare to help busy families. I provide a safe, engaging environment where children can have fun, build confidence, and enjoy a range of age-appropriate activities. With my professional background in education and safeguarding, parents can feel reassured that their children are in experienced and caring hands.
My Experience
I hold both a Bachelor of Education degree and an Honours degree, which I completed in South Africa. Following my studies, I gained three years of teaching experience in South African schools, working with children from a variety of backgrounds and supporting their academic and personal development.
While studying at university, I also established and ran my own tutoring business, providing after-school support to help children build confidence, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential.
I have lived in the UK for almost five years and have continued to develop my passion for supporting children by working in SEN and SEMH settings. These roles have strengthened my understanding of children’s individual needs and reinforced my commitment to providing nurturing, inclusive, and child-centred care where every child feels valued, supported, and able to thrive.
Alongside my teaching experience, I have completed extensive safeguarding training and hold additional qualifications in play therapy, supporting children’s mental health, and working with children who display behaviours that challenge. I am committed to continually developing my professional knowledge and am due to begin the National Professional Qualification (NPQ) in Leading Teacher Development in the autumn. These qualifications and experiences enable me to provide a safe, supportive, and understanding environment where children can flourish both emotionally and academically.

Honours of Education with specialisation in curriculum development (obtained in 2020 from UNISA - University of South Africa)

- Babysitting from £25.00 per hour
- Nannying from £30.00 per hour (gross)
My fees are tailored to the level of care and support required, ensuring that families only pay for the services they need. I believe that quality childcare should be accessible and fairly priced, and my aim is to support busy parents by providing flexible, affordable care. I am always happy to discuss individual family circumstances and work together to find a solution that meets your needs.
