About Me
Hi
My name is Louise and I’m an ofsted registered childminder. I live in a quiet area of Hatfield with my husband and our 25 yr old son, 16 yr old grandson and our 6 yr old grandaughter
We have a cat & 2 dogs, both of whom are great with the children and my current mindees all love them to pieces.
I have a large garden with lots of outside play opportunities, including sand pit, play house and ride on toys. We love doing messy play, baking, craft and drawing & painting to name a few activities.
I attend various goups throughout the week, as well as visiting the park and feeding the ducks at the lakes and visiting Willows farm on a regular basis. My colleagues & I have set up a childminding group, where we do themed activities, craft, and various other activities with the children. We do attend a toddler group, with free play, on a Tuesday morning.
I had my Ofsted inspection in August 2024 and my was setting was graded as Good.
My Experience
I have been Childminding for nearly 24 years, previous to that I was a Private Nanny for 10 years after gaining my NNEB, this was all before having my own children.
My Qualifications
I completed my NNEB in 1988.
I am Ofsted registered, and have up to date First Aid and Safe Guarding Certificates.
I am a member of CoramPACEY
I have in the past completed my HQS (Herts Quality Standards) and i also participated in The Covid Recovery scheme, which i found invaluable personally and for my setting.
I regularly complete various online courses and evening webinars, all of which can be viewed when you visit.
My Availability
I am currently looking to fill spaces for September, when a couple of my little ones move onto school.
I will be dropping off & collecting from Howe Dell school
I offer the 15 & 30 hrs funding and I accept childcare vouchers as well as being registered for Tax Free Childcare.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
