My little boy has been under Karen’s care for 8 months and thrives in her setting. He joined her as a shy 13 month old and has developed into a confident cheeky chappie with a wide vocabulary and great social skills. She particularly helped conquer problematic areas such as his weaning to solid food, which is something we had not been able to do successfully at home. Beyond her job, Karen genuinely loves and cares for him and this is evident when I see how he interacts and plays with her. She is fully aligned with our values and approach to discipline which gives the little one a consistent experience when with her or at home. We visited many different childminders and nursery settings and Karen was head and shoulders above them all. We feel lucky to have her, especially as she is usually fully booked.
