Hello! We are a happy family of four based in Worcester with two little girls.
I am starting as a post-grad at university so we are looking for reliable part-time childcare support for two full days a week. The days may vary depending on my university timetable.
Care will sometimes be for both girls, and on Wednesdays or Fridays Eliza will be at nursery from 10am–4pm, meaning the role would mainly involve caring for Juno during those hours.
Eliza is a lively, strong-willed toddler who benefits from a confident adult who can take the lead, provide clear and consistent boundaries to keep her feeling safe, secure and happy! We are looking for someone calm and proactive who is comfortable creating structure in the day while keeping things fun, affectionate and engaging.
My Requirements
Nanny needed - Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, start ASAP
We are looking for a warm, reliable and confident nanny to care for our two daughters: Eliza, who turns 2 in November, and Juno, who is currently 4 months old.
Our regular university-term childcare hours will be:
- Tuesday: 9am–5pm - care for Eliza and Juno
Wednesday: 9am–2pm - mainly care for Juno; Eliza will be at nursery from 10am–4pm from the start of November
-Friday: 10am–2pm - mainly care for Juno; Eliza will be at nursery from 10am–4pm from the start of November
This is around 17 hours per week during term times, with the possibility of occasional extra hours by agreement. The role may change slightly from term to term as my university timetable changes, but we will always aim to give plenty of notice.
We are looking for someone who is confident providing sole care for both a young baby and toddler, and who enjoys planning age-appropriate play, activities and local outings. The role includes supporting naps, feeds and meals, preparing simple meals and snacks for Eliza, supporting her development and, when relevant, helping with potty training. We would also ask that the children’s play and meal areas are kept tidy and organised during the day.
We are based in WR3, Worcester, and are hoping to find someone nurturing, proactive and dependable who can start as soon as possible. Experience caring for both babies and toddlers is essential.
