About Me

Hi, I am Olivia I'm 27 and I am currently employed as an Education Welfare Officer for Denbigshire County Council.

Before this, I worked in a secondary school where I progressed from Teaching Assistant to Assistant Head of Year and A level law teacher.

I have a Law degree and several years of experience working with children and young people. I’m responsible, approachable and enjoy creating a safe, positive and enjoyable environment for children.

I’m also happy to help with homework, routines, activities and general childcare.

I have an enhanced DBS and am confident working with children of different ages and needs.

My Experience

I have several years of experience working with children and young people in a secondary school setting. I started my career as a Teaching Assistant before progressing to Assistant Head of Year, where I supported a large cohort and worked closely with pupils, parents, teachers and external professionals.

My experience included supporting children with additional learning needs, attendance difficulties, wellbeing and pastoral needs, as well as helping families access appropriate support.

I also taught A-level Law as the sole Law teacher at my school, developing lessons and resources for students.
