ELISE’S EXPLORERS
Hello! I am an Ofsted registered childminder and I am based in North Holmwood, Dorking. I am a mummy of two boys, 3 and 5 years old. Before having children I was a primary school teacher for 7 years. I live in a 2 bedroom house, with a garden. Our home is smoke and pet free.
Our setting offers a safe, happy, home from home experience. Your child will have fun packed days filled with lots of outside play, baking, crafting, messy play and lots of activities set up crammed full of learning opportunities! We offer a balanced mix of being out and about exploring our local area/attending classes, and being busy back at our base, enjoying our cosy home from home environment.
My Experience
I have 7 years teaching experience (years 3 and 5). I am a mummy of 2. I have been childminding since May 2022.
My Qualifications
I have completed all relevant early years training, as well as full paediatric first aid training. Both myself and my partner have the relevant DBS checks required. Copies of all relevant certificates will be provided for your viewing.
I have also previously completed teacher training.
My Availability

I am open 8.00am - 5.30pm, term time only. I do not offer before and after school care only.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
I charge £7.50 per hour. I also charge an extra £1.50 per day for snacks and lunch.

As a primary / early years trained teacher myself, I’ve been a little hard to please when it comes to childcare for my own daughter! For one reason or another, either myself or my daughter had struggled to find happiness in previous childminders / nursery attempts - until we met Elise! My daughter absolutely loves going to Elise’s house and is usually running down the path to knock on the door. A far cry from the clinging and crying we’ve had with previous minders! Elise’s daily activities offer amazing variation, with a constant focus on learning with fun. Her resources are incredible, her creativity is boundless and I couldn’t be happier with who I am entrusting my daughters care and early education to. It’s been a great relationship and I’m so pleased we found Elise!

I really cannot recommend Elise enough. Having tried out a few other childminders, we then met Elise. Our 1 year old settled in very quickly and always loves going to Elise. She is so creative and always has a fun variety of different activities for the kids to do, teaching them many things along the way. She takes them out regularly to interesting places. It feels like Elise really cares about our daughter and it gives us such peace of mind knowing we are leaving her happy in safe, capable hands. We also receive regular updates.

Elise has been amazing with my son and he loves going to hers. He struggled with transitions at first but to see him recently go with Elise without a single tear really was rewarding as a parent knowing he feels safe and happy with Elise.
Elise always communicates very well, Is very supportive and offers lots of learning opportunities. Thank you for doing a great Job ❤️
