About Me
Hi there! My name is Kate and I am a 24 year old primary teacher from Cambridgeshire but have recently moved to Norwich!
I have babysat for families since I was a teenager, undergoing babysitting courses & first aid training. When living in Cambridgeshire, I babysat a family every Wednesday evening and another family on the occasional weekend. I also babysat during the day time during holidays- so I am very flexible and experienced!
I have been a primary school teacher for 3 years and currently work as a supply teacher so I can get to know the area better! I have a Degree in Education and a Diploma in Psychology Mental Health & Wellbeing.
I am enthusiastic, caring and creative and enjoy taking children I look after to local environments such as the museum, library, park and more where I can give them the freedom to learn, have fun and explore. During evening shifts when the children are settling to sleep, I will make sure they are comfortable and a good story has been read before taking the opportunity to complete work (often lesson planning!) out of their way.
My Experience
During my studies as a primary teacher, I have taught in various locations from reception to year 6. Growing up in a family of childminders, I have been exposed to looking after younger children in the early years framework, and I feel very comfortable attending the child's needs. I have also volunteered at: the Ely Library for 2 summer reading challenges, the Ely museum, Ely & Littleport Lions Club and Littleport Girl Guides.
As previously mentioned, I have also been a teacher for 3 years and have babysat a considerable amount, making me a trustworthy and reliable person.
My Qualifications
7 GCSE's
BTEC A Level in Health & Social Care
3rd Degree diploma in Primary Education
Diploma in Mental Health and Wellbeing
Various first aid courses.
I also have undergone a babysitting course.
My Availability
I am away on holiday until 2nd September. Any date after this is good!
I am usually very flexible but if you could please give at least 3 days notice if you require my services, unless it's an emergency, and I will let you know my availability.
I am unable to do day time shifts during term time as I will be teaching but during the holidays, I can do anytime!

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
Morning-evening shifts are £12 an hour.
Overnight shifts will be £15 an hour.
