About Me
Childminder
With 7 years of working with a little one's and a 5 year old active boy of my own it brings me great pleasure to see children develop. As an EYFS practitioner I see each child as a unique individual, after observing their play and development I plan activities just for them to encourage positive progress resulting in a child-centered approach while providing a supportive and caring environment for them to thrive.
I provide each child with an individual learning experience, enabling them to learn at their own pace within an environment that has been designed to nurture and encourage their independence and self-confidence.

My Experience
10 years experience , These were toddler structured art sessions , working with parents to create some thing together that they could both be proud of this , Along side this i ran summer clubs for 5-12 years old inspiring 15 children with a our art award projects , and after school clubs. Part time working as a art teacher for SEN children .
Years later i was blessed with a boy who was not only creative but very interested every thing engineer construction based , This amazing 3 year old showed activity's is more than making stuff but exploring science engineering activity's is really fantastic to carry out and is in the every day world there is so much around us to discover .
This was when new company was born

I have been eyfs child minding for a 6 years now and love it .
We have had lots of family's grow with us and we have a 'good rated' inspection report .

My daughter has been going to Vickies setting for 7months now and she absolutely loves it there. Vickie has helped my daughter in so many ways I can’t thank her enough. I love how she has such an inviting home and I know my daughter loves attending. She always asks me when is it time to go see Vickie. 😍

We feel very fortunate to have found Vickie to look after our twin toddlers and have been with Smartie Arty Play for over a year now. I love that they’re constantly learning and having fun. Vickie is very observant with their individual needs and personalities, and often gives me advice based on what she has observed during the day. I love seeing the photos from their days, out and about just having a blast. As someone who doesn’t drive, the location is very convenient being near a tram stop.
The only downside is how sad they are to leave when I have to pick them up 😂
