My Summary
About Me
Hi,
My name is Amelia and I'm a 23 year old female working at Durham University, and looking to find jobs babysitting/tutoring around the city. I'm very sensible, good fun, easy going and reliable. I've babysat for three local families over the last four years and previously had other jobs as a tutor and violin teacher. I've just completed my undergraduate degree in history :))
My Experience
I'm experienced with babysitting as I've being doing it for seven years, primarily looking after children aged 3-13. I'm also a grade 8 violinist and have taught violin to children before. Additionally I'm a straight A student and so could help with homework for most subjects up to GCSE level, and for History, Music, Maths and Physics up to A Level standard.
My Qualifications
1st Class BA Hons (History), Grade 8 Violin and Clarinet.
My Availability
I am available almost anytime outside of 'office hours' (c. 9-5 Mon-Fri).
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
For childminding, my fees are usually about £8-20/hour depending on the age and number of children.
For academic tutoring or homework help my fees are £11 for half an hour or £22 for an hour.
For violin tutoring, my fees are £12 for half an hour or £24 for an hour.

- UK Passport [DELETED] (added 03/08/2022)

We hired Amelia to look after our 6-year old son for 5 days over a couple of weeks. He absolutely adored her and was really sad each day when she left. I think he likes her better than me, ha ha! Amelia was great with him - playing various games, reading, etc. She also helped with lunch, and everything was tidy when I got home. They went on some adventures in our community and one day my son got stung by a wasp. Amelia handled the situation extremely well, looked after my son with care, and kept me updated on the turn of events. I would highly recommend her to anyone! I would give her more stars if I could.
