About Me

Welcome to Emily Daycare, a warm, safe and nurturing home-based childcare setting where children can learn, play, laugh and grow in confidence. I provide a fun, caring environment where children feel secure, happy and excited to come each day.

I am an Ofsted registered childminder graded GOOD, with over 15 years of childcare experience. I am very passionate about working with children, especially from 0–5 years old, as I believe these early years should be filled with fun learning experiences that help children build confidence, independence and friendships.

I believe children learn best when they are happy and having fun, so I make sure every day includes a balance of learning, creativity, play and laughter. Whether it's messy play, dancing, storytime, trips to the park, arts and crafts, or group activities, I make sure children enjoy their time while developing important skills. Parents often describe me as caring, patient, fun, reliable and approachable.

As a mother myself, including raising my daughter with special needs, I understand how important trust is when choosing childcare. I treat every child with the same care, kindness and attention I would want for my own children.
