About Me
As an Ofsted childminder located in Market Harborough, I provide nurturing care for children from birth to 5 years old. My husband and I share our home with our friendly labrador, Evie and our daughter Willow creating a warm and welcoming home for your little ones.
I provide a warm, nurturing, and home-from-home environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. I am proud to have been awarded a Good grading by Ofsted, reflecting my commitment to high-quality care and early years education.
My setting is designed to support every child’s individual development through a balance of play, exploration, and structured learning. I believe children learn best when they are happy, engaged, and given opportunities to follow their interests.
What I offer:
-Outdoor Learning – Regular woodland trips and forest school experiences, giving children the chance to explore nature, build confidence, and develop a love for the outdoors.

-Encouraging Independence – I support children in developing confidence, self-help skills, and independence at their own pace.
I work in close partnership with parents to ensure every child receives the best possible care and support. Together, we can help your child thrive, learn, and create happy memories.
I offer funded places for 9 months, 2, 3, and 4-year-olds and accept the Tax-Free Childcare scheme.

My Experience
I have four years of experience working as a childminder, providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of varying ages. I have experience caring for children from newborns through to toddlers, as well as babysitting older children. In addition, I have run a playgroup, giving me valuable experience in planning activities, managing groups of children, and supporting social development.
I am fully trained in paediatric first aid, ensuring I can respond confidently and effectively to any emergencies while maintaining a high standard of care. I have also completed continuous professional development (CPD) in safeguarding, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and the Department for Education statutory framework. I have further enhanced my knowledge by completing additional childcare courses throughout the year.
I have developed strong skills in supporting children’s learning and development, building positive relationships with families, and creating structured yet flexible daily routines. I enjoy teaching and engaging with children of all ages, creating fun, stimulating experiences that support their growth and development. I am passionate about helping children get the best possible start in life.

Harriet has been an incredible childminder, and I feel truly fortunate to have her as my daughter's first caregiver. My daughter eagerly anticipates her mornings with Harriet, where she has formed a special bond that feels like family. It breaks my heart to say goodbye due to our relocation; if it weren't for that, we would have loved to extend our time together! My daughter has grown so much under Harriet's care, building vital skills through play and exploration. Harriet creates such engaging themed activities, ensuring that the children remain both entertained and enriched. It’s heartwarming to see how safe my daughter feels to explore her interests, and her focus has developed beautifully. Thank you for all your care and love 💕 We will miss you x

Our youngest has been with Harriet now for 4 months and he settled straight away with her despite struggling in a nursery setting. She is very caring towards the children in her care and a lot of thought goes into their activities and outings to fit their needs and interests. We especially love how great Harriet is at keeping in touch with us and letting us know what little man gets up to all day!

Doodle bells has been looking after my daughter ivy for a few months now, and she has progressed massively with her skills and learning, I know she’s in great hands everyday when I drop her off, and I know she enjoys all the things they do together, and they go out to places. I get sent photos and updates on their day which is really nice for me! :) Harriet is a very friendly person, with a lovely clean home, set up for the children.
