About Me
We're a family of 3 (Gabi, Pablo and little Ande, currently 2 years and a half), soon to be 4. We used to live in London and moved to Cambridge last year (we both work at the University of Cambridge). Pablo and I are 38, I am Italian and he's Argentinian, which means little Ande is navigating a funny English-Spanish-Italian mix in his life!
My Requirements
We're expecting a second child (due date mid-February 2024) and are looking for a reliable and caring person who can help us with our newborn. Both my family and Pablo's live abroad so we're hoping we can find someone who can support us in those intense first months.
I think the type of profile we're thinking of is a part-time nanny. Someone who comes 3 or 4 hours each day, Monday to Friday, in the morning (ideally starting at 9:30 am but we're flexible about exact times).
Start date February 2024, end date August 2024 (included), flexible about exact dates. So this is a total of 7 months, with a possibility to continue until the end of December 2024.
Mum will be on maternity leave for the entire time, dad will be at work, and our first child Ande attends nursery, so this is only about the newborn, not Ande.
We're looking for someone who is reliable, kind and trustworthy, with at least some experience (ideally with infants or babies). Someone that speaks Spanish or Italian, and has references, would be ideal.
