About Me
i am a single parent of two children age 16 & 26 i currently work with Falkirk council full time . i first gained my NNEB in 1990 & moved abroad to nanny . When returning in 1992 i nannied , ran a crèche & became a mum. I took myself back to college in 2012 to do my HNC in childcare to develop my skills further. Since re-qualifying i have worked with Stirling & Falkirk council until i gained a full time post in 2019.
My Experience
Nannied in canada for nearly 2 yr then got a nanny job locally until the children went to school..then i worked in a nursery..also ran a playgroup & I am currently employed by Falkirk Council. i have worked in nurseries since requalifying in 2013. I now have decided to look for babysitting posts to have extra money as having a teenager is expensive & also as i have a passion
to look after children. My youngest is 16 & looking for extra money so looking to take her on my jobs with me to gain experience & build her confidence.She also has a pvg & charges an unqualified rate of £8 an hour

Jackie has been an absolute delight! As a single mother it can be hard to juggle everything but knowing that Jackie's professionalism, great rapport with my little one, and generally just really uplifting personality is there when I need a childminder over the weekend has been a literal Godsend.
Would recommend her in a heartbeat!
