About Me
Hi my name is Emma ! I am a third year university student in Bristol studying economics and have just come back from a summer of au pairing, of which I loved every minute ! Childcare is something I really enjoy, I love just playing with and entertaining the children whether that’s playing video games, board games, or even hide and seek ! I feel I can find the right balance of entertaining whilst remaining responsible, keeping it fun for the children and making them feel at home. I’ve spent years babysitting and also working as a private tutor, I also have my own car ! Looking forward to hearing from you !
My Experience
I have just spend a month working as an au pair (live in nanny) for 3 children ages 8-11, I also have previous experience in babysitting and tutoring younger children intermittently over the course of the last 4 years. Additionally I spent a year working in a child’s play area, where I planned and ran activities ! I am the eldest of many cousins and so have always spent my time looking after lots of children !
My Qualifications
As I am still a student I do not have any child care qualifications just lots of experience ! I have a full uk drivers license (for 3 years) I know basic first aid training.
My Availability
Whilst I’m not at uni I am fully flexible, however once I start back at the end of September I will likely have lectures from around 9-3 most days (with the possibility of some later ones) however once I have my timetable I can work around it !

Emma cared for my nearly two year old while I worked from home and I highly recommend her. My toddler was relaxed around her and enjoyed playing with her and being read to. She has very good instincts when caring for little ones as well as a lot of experience. As a bilingual household, I really appreciated Emma’s efforts learning some phrases in our home language for my son’s benefit. She was also a great communicator and clearly organised her time well. I hope she is available to care for my son again when she returns from her travels!
