I am available for part/full time nannying from December 2025
Ideally looking for a 2 or 3 day per week position.
I am an experienced and qualified Preschool teacher/Nanny (experience with babies and toddlers)
I love arts and craft, being out in nature, cooking, comedy and dancing. I love sharing these activities with the children I work with as well as supporting and learning about their own interests.
Open communication with parents and creating a comfortable, supportive atmosphere for children is my priority when childminding.
My Experience
Since finishing university in 2017 I have worked with children in Childcare facilities and Preschools as well as private nannying roles.
In Preschool, I have mainly worked with children between the ages of 2 and 6 years old. I also have significant experience caring for babies from 4 months old and preteens (10-13 years old) - basically, all ages suit me!
I live near Vicky park.
My Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Early Years and Childhood Studies, University College Cork.
TELF Certified, I am experienced in supporting early speech and language development.
Leadership in Inclusion Coordinator (LINC) (Special needs diploma).
Pediatric First Aid certification.

My Availability
I am currently seeking a full/part time nanny position.
I am available: Mondays to Friday 8-6 (these times are flexible depending on the families needs)
With each new family, after a phone call, I usually come over for a visit to meet the children and talk to the parents in person, we make a plan about the starting date, any specific requests or needs etc and go from there
My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Nannying from £24.00 per hour (gross)
My hourly rate varies depending on the age range and number of children in my care. Please contact me and we can arrange a call :)

Shannon looked after our 3 girls full time when they were 7, 5 and 1 years old. She is an exceptional childcare professional. The girls loved her enthusiasm, her creativity and her positivity. They are now 12, 10 and 7 and I can still see the impact of her influence on their behaviour. She nurtured their self confidence, creativity and respect for people around them. They love drama and performing and this is something that is certainly rooted in their experience with Shannon. I would highly recommend her as a nanny and assure you that any child she cares for will feel the benefit of her influence for years to come.

Shannon has been out favourite Nanny (and we've had about 5). Great at reading the room and adapting her approach based on what she sees. Super fun and likes to get the kids involved in decision making. Relaxed and happy and creates that atmosphere around her. Organised, good at time keeping. Highly recommended.
