My name is Jessica, I’m based in Red lodge, happily married to David living with our two daughter’s Olivia and Hollie and our dog Sky a very gentle greyhound who spends most of the day sleeping.
My objective is to create a true 'home away from home’ for the children in my care, to provide a strong foundation for their learning journey. In all aspects of the care I offer children, from activities and learning, to planning and free-play, I am trying to bring out the best in the children I care for. I believe that the children can achieve independence, gain confidence, be given opportunities, try new challenges to encourage them to develop. I want the children to enjoy their time here ensuring equal opportunity for all to develop. I seek to provide a stable and sustained care programme for you and your child and aim to be as flexible as possible, to suit your needs.
My Experience
II have gained significant experience in the field of childcare over the years. I started my journey in a nursery, worked as a childminding assistant and subsequently set up my own Ofsted Registered Childcare business having gained more experience with my own children.
In addition to my childcare background, I have 12 years of experience in the healthcare sector, working across a range of settings, from care homes to hospitals. where I furthered my skills and knowledge.
I have just completed a course called CACHE Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home Based Childcare (RQF)
My Qualifications
I am pleased to inform you that I have completed all the necessary training as per the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted requirements.
I ensure my suitability and qualification to look after the children by keeping all relevant courses, information, memberships up to date, we have our DBS check to ensure a safe and secure environment for children.
My qualification certificates I hold are:
1.CACHE Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home Based Childcare (RQF)
2. NVQ BTTC level 2 in Childcare Learning and Development
3. NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care.
4. Paediatric First Aid
5. Safeguarding Children Certificate
6. Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate
My Availability
I am available from Monday to Thursday from 7.45am to 5.30pm
My Fees
- Childminding from £5.40 per hour
I currently have openings for both full and part-time care, age 11 months + with flexible hours available from 7.45 am to 5.30 pm, open to negotiation.
My Local Schools
