Part-Time Baby Nanny – Kensington, London – February 2027 Start

We are a warm and friendly family looking for a caring, reliable and experienced nanny to look after our baby boy from mid-February 2027, when he will be approximately 9 months old.

Start date: Mid-February 2027, with the possibility of an earlier start for introductory sessions and a gradual settling-in period
Initial hours: Approximately 2pm–6pm, 3 days per week
Location: Kensington, London
Future opportunity: Possibility to increase to 5 days per week as our childcare needs evolve.

We have two boys. Our eldest is 4 and has recently started Reception, while our youngest will be 9 months old when the position begins.

We already have an experienced nanny who looks after our older son and helps with the family during the week. This role will therefore focus primarily on caring for our baby, rather than looking after both children simultaneously.

We are looking for someone warm, nurturing, responsible and confident with babies, who would enjoy becoming a trusted and long-term part of our family.

Responsibilities include:

* Providing attentive, age-appropriate care and activities for our baby.
* Preparing and offering milk and food appropriate for his age.
* Supporting his nap and sleep routine.
* Taking him for walks and local activities.
* Nappy changes and general baby care.
* Keeping his toys, feeding equipment and belongings tidy.

We are particularly interested in candidates with genuine experience caring for babies under one year old. Paediatric first aid, an enhanced DBS check, strong references and the right to work in the UK are essential.

We are advertising in advance because we would like to find the right person and allow time for introductions and a gradual settling-in period before the regular schedule begins.

The position will initially be 3 days per week, with the possibility of increasing to 5 days per week in the future if it works well for both the nanny and our family.

We hope to find someone who is looking for a regular, long-term role and would love to build a strong relationship with our baby as he grows.
