Hi, I’m Gordon!
I’m a recent first-class graduate in Advertising and Marketing Communications and have just begun my master’s in Strategic Marketing and Consultancy. Creativity is a big part of who I am, whether through photography and editing or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. In my free time, I also enjoy travelling, playing games, and engaging in fun, active pastimes.
This past summer, I spent two months in Poland with Angloville as an International Participant (IP) and ESL mentor, where I led English immersion programmes, each week supporting groups of around 60 children. I also took part in a Eurotrip, where groups of Polish children were asked to choose an IP to guide and look after them during city visits. Out of six groups, four chose me, which I believe reflects the trust, connection, and positive rapport I built with the children on the first day. These experiences taught me patience, organisation, and how to make activities both engaging and enjoyable for different age groups.
I am a responsible, reliable, and caring individual with an up-to-date enhanced DBS check, giving you peace of mind about your child’s safety and wellbeing.

Leadership & Volunteering:
The Priory School (2016–2019): Held multiple leadership roles, including Form Captain, Peer Mentor, Prefect, and Music Mentor, developing teamwork and communication skills.
Dudley College (2019–2020): Served as a Student Representative, advocating for student interests.
Sandwell Youth Orchestra (2018–2019): Played as a Front Desk Cellist, demonstrating discipline and teamwork.
Teaching & Childcare:
Primary School Work Experience: Assisted Year 5 & 6 students and supported teachers with classroom activities.
Community & Elderly Care:
NCS Programme: Led initiatives to combat loneliness among the elderly, raised funds, and helped renovate a care home garden.

My Qualifications
I hold GCSE qualifications ranging from grades 8-4 including 8 in Mandarin and 7 in Mathematics. Alongside that, I uphold two grade C in Music and Photography and a M-P grade in BTEC IT.
Also, I am a qualified grade 6 cellist, who can play up to a grade 8 standard if you would like cello and music theory lessons for your child.
