Hi, I am 22 and am moving to live in Cardiff in September for my Masters. I am looking to do babysitting/nannying alongside university. Love meeting new people and having fun with kids!
My Experience
I have been babysitting for family and friends for the past few years. I have also been an after school nanny for a 2 year old girl for the past year. I recognise that friendliness, patience and kindness when spending time with the children, as well as being respectful for family’s homes. I love playing games and doing arts and crafts with kids too, its a great time to spend time with them to keep them busy and happy!
I have also worked in a primary school. One of the main things I learnt from this experience was adapting to others and those with complex learning needs in the classroom, requiring attentiveness, patience and kindness. It was also very important to interact with the children in break times and lunch, participating in games such as IT, chase and skipping!
